Eva Appelbaum
Eva is a recognised leader in digital strategy and business transformation. She is a frequent keynote speaker on transformation and her case studies were published in two books: “Creating Digital Culture” and “Building the Agile Business”. As Digital Director at BBC Earth, Eva was a transformational leader pivotal in changing the way the BBC worked across television and digital content & products, transforming BBC Marketing and setting up the BBC’s “Digital Marketing Lab”..
Eva now works with clients on organisational development, facilitation and engagement for the digital age. She combines her experience as a digital leader steeped in content design, user experience and agile ways of working, with her deep passion and understanding of culture change, organisational storytelling and innovation in learning & development. She has worked across industry & sector with clients such as British Airways, Department for Education, Allianz and Merlin Entertainment.
Eva’s previous roles include being on the Digital Advisory Board at ActionAid, Digital Director for Amnesty International, and Director of Social Media & Digital Production at GroupM, and digital engagement consultant for Mercer. She has been included in Marketing Week’s Vision100 and the BIMA Hot100 list and is a regular judge of sector awards, including the CIM, Lovies and Festival of Marketing awards.
